Investigative reporter Sara Carter gave Fox News an inside look at a Texas Department of Public Safety facility that is believed to hold $ 10 million in contraband narcotics.

Much of that amount was seized from illegal immigrants and Mexican drug cartels who had unrestricted access to the United States.

Carter expanded on his previous “Hannity” reporting on the dangers of the many pounds of fentanyl being trafficked into the United States, including the fraction that Texas authorities are able to ban.

The Houston-area facility that Carter visited contained 20,000 pounds of contraband drugs, a TXDPS agent said.

“We are seeing counterfeit pills made by drug dealers,” the officer said. “We know the precursors come from China to Mexico – then the cartels make this drug and circulate it through our states. “

“This is what we are seeing with counterfeit pills. It kills thousands of Americans because people don’t know what kind of drugs they are ingesting in terms of those pills.”

The officer said some of the fentanyl brought into the United States from China and Mexico found its way into the bodies of unsuspecting college students who are not drug addicts, but who simply accepted a drug pill. ‘a friend.

“They are not aware of what they are ingesting,” he said. “It all comes down to the lack of border policies. “

“The federal government is not taking any action,” the agent continued. “They allow these smuggling organizations to take advantage of these illegal immigrants and these passing drugs. They are not taking any action to protect the Americans or the border. That is why we are taking action to protect our Texans and the rest of the world. country. “

Carter then told Hannity that China and Mexico were indeed the top two exporters of fentanyl to the United States, and warned Americans to only ingest pills prescribed specifically by their doctor or pharmacist.
